Dr. Fantino’s passion for helping people led her to the field of chiropractic. She did her undergraduate studies at the State University of New York in Plattsburgh before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri in 1981.
Dr. Fantino practiced briefly in Missouri and Washington State before opening her practice in the West Ashley area of Charleston in 1986. Since that time she has helped young and old alike get rid of pain and lead healthier and more active lives.
Dr. Fantino is a member of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association.

A native of Johns Island, LaDawn has been practicing massage since 2005 and is a graduate of Miller Motte Technical College. LaDawn specializes in Integrative Therapeutic massage; this customized approach to massage deeply focuses in on a problem area like the neck and shoulders while addressing whole body stress relief. Her main interest is the well-being of her clients. She gives self-care suggestions related to her diverse background in holistic health. LaDawn has provided massage in co-operation with Chiropractic care for over 8 years. LaDawn believes in lifelong learning and has advanced her career through the studies of holistic health care sciences. She is a Certified Holistic Health Care Practitioner, Certified Kemetic Yoga Instructor, Certified Birth Doula/Doula Trainer and Certified Infant Massage Instructor. In her free time, LaDawn conducts wellness seminars, performs African dance, volunteers and enjoys spending time in nature as well as traveling the country.
In 2007, Jaclynn graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. Fitness, wellness, and an overall healthy lifestyle have all been very important aspects of her life. She decided to expand her knowledge and pursue her interest in Massage Therapy not only as a hobby, but as a second career path. Jaclynn graduated from Miller-Motte College in Wilmington, NC with a diploma in Massage Therapy in 2010. Since graduating, she has become a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner as well as an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer. Jaclynn came joined the WellnessPlus family in the winter of 2012. With all of her combined experience, she strongly believes in the rehabilitating powers of Massage Therapy and enjoys sharing this passion with her patients. In her spare time Jaclynn enjoys playing volleyball and working out. She also loves to go running on the beach with her fiancé and their dog, Harley.

In 2012, Tai graduated from Miller-Motte Technical College in Charleston with an Associate’s Degree and specialized training in Prenatal Massage, Kinesiology, Swedish and Sports Massage. After graduating she began her Massage Therapy career at Massage Envy in West Ashley. In the fall of 2012, Tai joined the staff at WellnessPlus in search of a more medical forum for her craft. In 2013, Tai began continuing her education at Miller Motte training to be a Medical Assistant. Tai is originally from Barbados and moved to Charleston at the age of 10. In her spare time, Tai enjoys relaxing with her family and friends. She also loves shopping and trying new and interesting foods.

In 2012, Angie graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree with Honors in Massage Therapy from Miller Motte Technical College. She also holds an Associate of the Arts degree from Saint Leo University which she earned while serving 10 years active duty in the United States Coast Guard. Angie is passionate about massage and its benefits to the body and mind. She likes to incorporate several modalities to maximize tension relief such as neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue, positional release, passive and active stretches and Swedish massage strokes. Educating her patients and providing them with knowledge of self-care techniques is also an integral part of her therapy. In her spare time, Angie enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, being outdoors, camping, working out and reading about the latest holistic and health news.
In May 2010, Sylvia graduated from Trident Technical College with a Certificate in Massage/Bodywork Therapy, specializing in relaxation, Kinesiology, Trigger Point, Swedish and Sport Massage. Sylvia began her massage career at Massage Envy in 2010. She is very passionate about the medical field and wanted to know, as well as experience, more about the medical aspect of massage therapy. She joined the WellnessPlus team in order to fulfill that goal. She believes that massage therapy not only heals the body, but also the mind, soul and in some cases spiritually. Sylvia is continuing her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Sylvia enjoys painting and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Nancy, originally from Connecticut, came to work for WellnessPlus in the fall of 2012. As a patient first, Nancy found out very quickly how Chiropractic could affect her life for the better; and now as an employee she is always excited to share that with our patients. She is a fountain of positivity and greets each patient with her great attitude and smiling face. Nancy has a great love for the outdoors and owned an Outdoors Store in Connecticut where she gained many years of business experience. Nancy and her family moved to the Charleston area in 2006. She is very close to her son and daughter, both of which are attending college in the upstate. In Nancy’s spare time she enjoys gardening, photography and spending time with her husband and children.
Nancy loves the quote from D.D. Palmer: “Do not forget that chiropractors did not treat diseases. They adjust causes, whether acquired, spontaneous, or the result of an accident.”
Larkin has been working in healthcare administration and business management for the past 17 years and came to work for WellnessPlus in April of 2012. She is committed to a positive healthcare experience for all of our patients and enjoys nothing more than seeing the difference we make in their lives. She grew up in Mt. Pleasant, attended Queens College and worked in the Midlands prior to returning to her native Charleston to start a family with her husband, Richie. Larkin is an avid organic gardener and is passionate about the environment. She enjoys creating artisan works and exploring new and different culinary techniques. She and her husband welcomed their baby daughter, Cecilia, into their family in January of 2013 and are loving each day’s new experiences in parenting.

Speaking to someone in terrible pain on their first visit and then seeing how happy and relaxed their faces are after treatment is so rewarding”, says Larkin
Shana has been in the medical billing and collections fields for 15 years and expertly handles all our patients’ insurance needs. She also assists with patient therapies, and our staff and patients
always appreciate her gentle hand. Shana is passionate about her role at WellnessPlus as she sees daily how the therapies can completely change patients’ lives.
“I grew up with my parents faithfully going to a chiropractor and saw the difference it made in their lives. I myself suffer from migraines and have seen how chiropractic care helps,” says Shana.
