When a new patient comes into WellnessPlus of Charleston, SC for the first time, they are greeted warmly and given the appropriate paperwork to fill out.  They are then brought back into the chiropractic doctor’s office for their consultation with Dr. Fantino.  In the consultation, the doctor learns from the patient the history and nature of their complaints.  The patient is then taken into the examination room where they are asked to put on a gown in preparation for their exam.  The doctor then performs a complete physical, neurological, orthopedic and spinal examination followed by any necessary x-rays.  The patient is then discharged for the day in order for the doctor to have time to get the x-rays back, read them, and correlate a chiro treatment plan based on all of the information gathered.  On the patient’s second visit, the doctor goes over the results of the tests, shows the patient their x-rays and recommends a treatment plan.  Treatment can begin that day and will consist of a gentle chiropractic adjustment along with a variety of therapies depending on the patient’s unique condition and the doctor’s recommendations.

WellnessPlus offers “Same Day Appointments” during our regular business hours. We are open 6 days a week, including Saturdays, and we do not believe in making patients “wait”. Our Charleston chiropractic office schedules appointments in such a way that your wait time is less than 5 minutes.
