Headaches

Cervicogenic headache is referred pain in the head from a source in the neck. Referred pain is pain that is felt at a location other than where the cause is located.  When the vertebrae in the neck become misaligned due to trauma such as whiplash, repetitive activities such as phone and computer work, or straining, the nerves exiting between the vertebrae become pinched, thus causing the nerve to become irritated.  The nerves of the neck travel into the head, leading into headache causes.  WellnessPlus of Charleston, SC, would be able to realign those vertebrae, taking the pressure off the nerves for relief as part of headache treatment cures.
